Once you’ve learned the basics, you’ll choose an independent project to work on at your own pace. Sierra will provide guidance, demonstrations, and individual support as you build your skills and gain confidence.
I session two we will learn how to work in the round and make a beanie, which is a more advanced skill.
Materials:
Please bring a 5.0 mm (H-8) crochet hook and worsted-weight (#4) yarn. Choose a smooth, medium-colored yarn that is easy to see and work with. Avoid very dark or fuzzy yarns, which can make it more difficult to see your stitches.
No previous crochet experience is necessary. Whether you’re brand new to crochet or looking to build on your existing skills, you’ll leave with new techniques and a project you can continue working on at home.

Join us for a beautiful evening of flowers, watercolor, and creativity at Beeline Blooms Dahlia Farm in Ben Lomond!
Karla will begin by showing us how to thoughtfully harvest dahlias and other flowers while preserving the health of the farm. Then, wander through the garden and choose your own blooms to create a beautiful bouquet.
Once you’ve gathered your flowers, artist Sarah Orre will guide you step-by-step through sketching and painting your bouquet in watercolor. No prior watercolor experience is necessary—just come ready to enjoy an evening of creativity surrounded by flowers!
You’ll leave with both your original watercolor painting and your fresh-cut bouquet to enjoy at home.
