Learn the fundamentals of crochet in this fun, supportive class with instructor Sierra Lubitz. You’ll start by learning how to make a classic granny square, one of the most versatile crochet patterns and the foundation for countless projects—from blankets and bags to pillows, garments, and more.
Once you’ve learned the basics, you’ll choose an independent project to work on at your own pace. Sierra will provide guidance, demonstrations, and individual support as you build your skills and gain confidence.
I session two we will learn how to work in the round and make a beanie, which is a more advanced skill.
Materials:
Please bring a 5.0 mm (H-8) crochet hook and worsted-weight (#4) yarn. Choose a smooth, medium-colored yarn that is easy to see and work with. Avoid very dark or fuzzy yarns, which can make it more difficult to see your stitches.
No previous crochet experience is necessary. Whether you’re brand new to crochet or looking to build on your existing skills, you’ll leave with new techniques and a project you can continue working on at home.
Mondays: 6:30-8 PM
$99 for 3 weeks
Instructor: Sierra Lubitz
Session I: Sept 14, 21, (no class 28th), October 5
Session II: 12, 19, 26
