Explore the beautiful, expressive possibilities of watercolor in this relaxed, hands-on class designed for artists of all experience levels. Each session combines instructor demonstrations with plenty of time to work independently on your own painting. Bring your own watercolor materials and enjoy learning new techniques while developing your personal style.

Session 1: Florals in Bloom
Paint beautiful, expressive flowers while learning foundational watercolor techniques. We’ll explore wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting, edge control, layering, and creating depth and dimension with transparent washes. Demonstrations will be followed by guided practice and time to develop your own floral painting.

Session 2: Winter in the Studio
Celebrate the holiday season with watercolor! We’ll explore festive subjects and techniques that add warmth, color, and texture. This session is perfect for creating seasonal artwork and handmade pieces that make thoughtful gifts. Demo will include glowing light, textures, pine branches and trees.

Students should bring their own watercolor supplies. Both sessions include demonstrations, instruction, and independent painting time, making this class a great opportunity to learn new skills while creating artwork of your own.
